Category: Electric Locomotive

Introduction

The Microprocessor-based Control and Fault Diagnostic System has been developed to manage locomotive operations efficiently by continuously monitoring digital and analog inputs and outputs. This system eliminates the need for conventional relay logic and wiring. It also features remote monitoring, enabling users to access locomotive data via a web server for troubleshooting and analysis. Faults encountered during locomotive operation are recorded and displayed on a 10.4-inch TFT display. The system is suitable for both Arno and Static inverter-fitted locomotives and can be applied to a range of freight and passenger locomotives.

System Overview

This advanced control system monitors various parameters and provides real-time data on locomotive performance. The system tracks parameters such as traction motor current, brake pressure, GPS location, speed, and energy consumption. With remote monitoring capabilities and data recording features, the system supports efficient fleet management and fault detection. The high-resolution displays and industrial-grade memory ensure that all critical data is available for analysis.
