Laxven Multi-Functional Graphical Display System for Locomotives

Introduction

Laxven has developed a rugged, multi-functional graphical display system designed to function as a human-machine interface (HMI) for locomotive operators. The system enables operators to view and investigate critical parameters, control the locomotive, record/retrieve data, and change user-settable parameters. It interfaces with the locomotive’s control system, allowing for real-time data display and fault event recording. The display is suitable for a wide range of locomotives, including Diesel, Electric, Metro, DEMU, and EMU locomotives, with configurations for 3-phase locomotives as per customer specifications.

This system is powered by the DC voltage available in the locomotive and supports voltage variations from 40V to 140V DC. It records event and fault data, which can be downloaded via a USB Pen Drive for analysis.
