Introduction
Laxven’s Data Logger is an advanced recording system designed for Locomotives. It captures critical operational data from the Loco Control Computer (LCC) or Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) and stores it in an onboard flash memory. The data can be retrieved and analyzed using a Pen Drive and Laxven Data Analysis Software.
System Overview
- The Data Logger interfaces with the LCC/VCU through various communication protocols such as Ethernet, RS485, MVB, or CAN.
- It receives periodic data from the LCC/VCU over the communication bus, and stores it in the onboard flash memory.
- The stored data can be accessed using a Pen Drive for further analysis using the Laxven Data Analysis Software.
- The system’s power supply input range is suitable for diesel/electric locomotives, with in-built protections for reliable operation.
